Pecan sandies, Russian tea cakes, Mexican wedding cookies, snowball cookies- they are all very similar. My mom requested that I make Russian tea cakes like her grandma used to, and I thought they were a boring cookie. These have no business being this good! Shaping them as snowballs is much easier than crescents, but I liked the thinness of the crescent more than the snowball. @youthsweets piped hers in the shape of a bow, which is the most creative thing ever. I also want to try these with pistachios as the nut rather than pecans. Just know these are incredible, and I’ll be posting the recipe to Substack.🤍

*Stamps are @nordicwareusa x Hearth and Hand with Magnolia from Target. They are gorgeous, and the easiest way I found to use them was to grease them up with some cookie dough and dip in granulated sugar before stamping. Also, work with cold dough.

What’s this? A cookie I made this year?? I edited this one today while resting on the couch. Just trying to chill while getting over the double pneumonia. I really want to make gingerbread though. I’ve been in the mood to make gingerbread cookies for weeks, so hopefully next week I feel alive enough to make some. I’m thinking gingerbread is a perfect seasonal family tradition. 🎄 (I still need to decorate for Christmas, so hopefully that happens next week too.)

I went to urgent care today and found out I only h

I went to urgent care today and found out I only had 87% oxygen levels. They gave me some breathing treatments and oxygen and got it up to 95% by the time I left. They diagnosed me with pneumonia. I’m on so many medications now, so hopefully it goes away quickly. I’m so ready for this to be over and to get back to normal life. 🫠
