10: Gingerbread Cookie Recipe is a recipe for a warmly spiced, soft gingerbread sugar cookie with a bit of molasses and lots of Christmas spirit. It is a minimal spread, sugary based cookie paired with a vanilla royal icing. This recipe is not for a traditional gingerbread and is more like a gingerbread styled/flavored sugar cookie. I wanted a warmly spiced gingerbread cookie that has only a small amount of molasses while being full of warm gingerbread spices, and I’m pretty proud of the results. This recipe contains only high quality pantry ingredients that can be found at your local grocery store or amazon and does not contain cake flour.
